Shiprocket is an MCP server that integrates Shiprocket logistics and e-commerce shipping operations directly with Model Context Protocol clients like Claude Desktop and Cursor. Built for online sellers, e-commerce managers, and logistics teams, it connects directly to personal Shiprocket seller accounts using account credentials. By bridging AI assistants with Shiprocket services, users can query and execute routine fulfillment workflows through conversational prompts instead of navigating administrative web dashboards manually. The server enables users to calculate shipping rates, identify serviceable courier partners based on pin codes or cities, and estimate delivery timelines for specific packages. It also supports complete fulfillment management, including creating single or bulk orders, updating existing shipments, scheduling pickups at configured warehouse addresses, and canceling unfulfilled requests. In addition, logistics coordinators can track active shipments using Air Waybill numbers or order identifiers, generate official shipping labels, and inspect recently created orders. This integration consolidates operational shipping tasks into developer environments and conversational interfaces, allowing merchants to handle fulfillment, courier selection, and order monitoring with minimal context switching.

bash git clone https://github.com/bfrs/shiprocket-mcp.git cd shiprocket-mcp npm install npm run build 3. Open your client configuration file, such as claude_desktop_config.json for Claude Desktop or mcp.json for Cursor. 4. Add the Shiprocket server entry under the mcpServers block: json { "mcpServers": { "Shiprocket": { "command": "npm", "args": [ "--prefix", "{{PATH_TO_SRC}}", "start", "--silent" ], "env": { "SELLER_EMAIL": "<Your Shiprocket Email>", "SELLER_PASSWORD": "<Your Shiprocket password>" } } } } 5. Replace {{PATH_TO_SRC}} with the absolute path to your cloned repository, insert your Shiprocket seller credentials, and restart the client.Part of MCP Servers
To install the server, clone the repository from GitHub using git clone, navigate to the directory, run npm install, and build the binary with npm run build. Then add the server definition to your Claude Desktop configuration or Cursor mcp.json file. You must supply your Shiprocket email and password in the env block and specify the path to your source repository.
The server exposes several tools for Shiprocket e-commerce logistics. It allows you to calculate shipping rates, estimate dates of delivery, inspect pickup addresses, and create or cancel orders. It also allows you to schedule carrier pickups, generate shipment labels, and track orders across carriers using AWB numbers or internal order IDs.
The Shiprocket MCP server is tested and configured for Claude Desktop and the Cursor editor. Any Model Context Protocol client that supports local stdio command execution and environment variable configuration can connect to the server once Node.js is configured properly.
You need Node.js installed with a version greater than 20.0.0 and less than 23.0.0. You also need an active Shiprocket seller account with valid login credentials, including your registered seller email address and password, alongside a supported MCP client such as Claude Desktop or Cursor.
