Odoo is an MCP server that integrates Odoo ERP instances with Large Language Models using the Model Context Protocol. It connects AI assistants like Claude Desktop to live Odoo databases, allowing business analysts, sales representatives, and enterprise teams to query and automate standard operational workflows. The server communicates via local stdio or remote protocols including SSE and streamable-http, enabling deployments across local workstations or inside Docker containers. By configuring the server, users expose specific modular tools to interact with Odoo business models, such as querying contacts, locating open quotations, analyzing sales order records, and retrieving customer invoices. Additionally, it supports loading custom external tool definitions directly from local directories at runtime. The integration bridges ERP database access with conversational AI agents, giving organizations direct, interactive visibility into their transactional records and customer relationships while respecting standard Odoo version compatibility and backend access controls.

You can install it directly with uv tool by running uv tool install with the git repository URL, or execute it on demand via uvx mcp-server-odoo inside your client configuration file. A Dockerfile is also included for building and running the server inside a container.
The server connects LLMs to your Odoo ERP database. It exposes configurable tools such as search_partners, search_quotations, search_sales_orders, and search_customer_invoices, allowing AI assistants to query customer records, track sales performance, and audit invoices.
Odoo works with Claude for Desktop and mcphost, as well as any Model Context Protocol compliant client that supports local stdio transport or remote SSE and streamable-http network connections.
The server requires your Odoo instance URL, database name, username, password or API key, major Odoo version, transport protocol type, and a comma-separated list of tools to register during startup.
